Alternative Investments

Historically, investment portfolios have comprised only the traditional asset classes of equities, bonds, property and cash. But BJM is always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to provide its clients with cutting edge alternatives to the merely traditional.

Financial markets have rapidly become more sophisticated. Different options therefore need to be explored, researched and brought within the reach of investors. To this end, BJM has developed a set of options that give the investor a high degree of non-correlation to traditional equity markets. We can now offer a wide spectrum of alternative investment options - from aggressive to relatively conservative.

These options are not designed to replace current portfolios but to enhance diversification and add some exciting returns. As with every BJM offering, these new options have been exhaustively researched and are managed with BJM's customary diligence and professionalism. They can therefore be viewed as adding a new dimension of diversification that ultimately reduces overall portfolio risk. Managing portfolios via a top down risk allocation strategy remains our modus operandi. As does the combined bottom up approach of selecting thoroughly tested and analysed quality shares.
